SHINee's Japan Tour starts

SHINee's company said the group will start on tour in Japan.

A SM Entertainment representative told the press, "SHINee concert tour will start from 25th of April in Fukuoka, Japan and will stay in town for 22 days".

The band started their concerts last January just took a break to prepare for their quick Korean comeback. Eventually, they have to return on April 23 to accomplish the nationwide tour. SHINee's THE FIRST JAPAN ARENA TOUR "SHINee WORLD 2012" will unfold on 25th, starting with Fukuoka, Japan. The anticipated grand arena tour is amounting to a total of 20 concerts.

SM Representative said, "The intense and charismatic boys on stage will present a live and smart-set performance that all combine a contemporary music, leading the means of a trend setter." He explained.

Meanwhile, SHINee mini album in mid-March fourth was promoted as "Sherlock Holmes", with the title song of the same name 'Sherlock' had won first place.

SHINee to end promotion for 'Sherlock' and start Japan Arena Tour

After a month of promotion, SHINee is finishing their activities in Korea and will go on tour in Japan.

SHINee's mini album title song 'Sherlock' is KBS2 Music Bank # 1 for two consecutive weeks (April 6, 13th). It was also #1 for three consecutive weeks (April 1, 8, 15th), earning them the Triple Crown award, during the broadcast of SBS's Inkigayo in the past 15 days.

SHINee's mini album, Sherlock, was released on March 21st and it received a hot response in the album chart. The album sold 135,370 copies within 10 days, proudly ranking them as first in the music charts.

SHINee, with their mini-album, Sherlock, has gathered attention globally. They were #10 on the U.S. iTunes album chart, and #9 on the Billboard World Album (World album) charts. French TV Canal peulrwi (CANAL plus) of the famous talk show, Le Petit jureunal (Le Petit Journal), also introduced the Sherlock music video. These are evidence of SHINee's global popularity and high visibility.

SHINee originally planned their comeback activities to last for four weeks. However, due to popularity demands, they have decided to extend their TV music programs for another week.

Starting on the 20th, KBS2 Music Bank and MBC Music Core will air the many historical Sherlock stages SHINee have performed throughout their short 5 weeks activity in Korea.
