SHINee to end promotion for 'Sherlock' and start Japan Arena Tour

After a month of promotion, SHINee is finishing their activities in Korea and will go on tour in Japan.

SHINee's mini album title song 'Sherlock' is KBS2 Music Bank # 1 for two consecutive weeks (April 6, 13th). It was also #1 for three consecutive weeks (April 1, 8, 15th), earning them the Triple Crown award, during the broadcast of SBS's Inkigayo in the past 15 days.

SHINee's mini album, Sherlock, was released on March 21st and it received a hot response in the album chart. The album sold 135,370 copies within 10 days, proudly ranking them as first in the music charts.

SHINee, with their mini-album, Sherlock, has gathered attention globally. They were #10 on the U.S. iTunes album chart, and #9 on the Billboard World Album (World album) charts. French TV Canal peulrwi (CANAL plus) of the famous talk show, Le Petit jureunal (Le Petit Journal), also introduced the Sherlock music video. These are evidence of SHINee's global popularity and high visibility.

SHINee originally planned their comeback activities to last for four weeks. However, due to popularity demands, they have decided to extend their TV music programs for another week.

Starting on the 20th, KBS2 Music Bank and MBC Music Core will air the many historical Sherlock stages SHINee have performed throughout their short 5 weeks activity in Korea.

Coming on the 25th, SHINee will be at Fukuoka, Japan to unfold their tour, 'THE FIRST JAPAN ARENA TOUR SHINee WORLD 2012'.
