SHAKIZI ISSUE WITH MINHO FANS

As of August 4 2012, Minho’s Fan Union (AURA, Beautiful Days, Can U Smile, Dreaming, Humming, I Love Minho, Mr Minho, Minhoney, Sweet Swimming, The Minho) prohibits the uploading of their data on SHAKIZI website. This is in response to a post on SHAKIZI on August 2 2012: Administrator’s personal opinions’ on “Vicious Fans” thread.

According to our understanding, SHAKIZI administrators posted the above mentioned announcement because they received a series of opinions regarding a certain issue (this has nothing to do with Minho fans). Minho fans are also SHINee fans but this time, SHAKIZI stated that the announcement about “vicious fans” has apparently nothing to do with Minho fans.

SHAKIZI's announcement started off without blaming anyone in particular, but at the end of the announcement, it suddenly turned to point fingers at Minho’s fans, and this cannot be understood. We can’t say that because there wasn’t an initial target, so we don’t understand the hidden meaning in the announcement. (T/N: Minho fansites found it obvious that SHAKIZI was talking about them, although it wasn't said directly)

SHAKIZI’s administrator said that in order to protect SHINee and SHINee’s fans, “the main issue of the problem has been resolved, and what is left is blame, so as for the issue not to get even bigger”, and so they posted the announcement. But in the midst of doing so, instead of aiming to solve the problem, it went the opposite direction and another misunderstanding happened. This caused great hurt to Minho fans, who also belong in SHINeeWorld.

Because of this, many fans gave criticisms and the administrators deleted all related contents. At an unexpected timing, an administrator suddenly posted up negative information and related stuff about Minho fans and it was very surprising for all of us, and it was becoming hard for us to hide our uncomfortable feelings. We, who are publishing this notice now, are all Minho fans and even more so, we are SHINee fans.

In a place where many SHINee fans visit, because of the administrators carelessness, there is a situation of us being treated poorly, and being despised.

As SHAKIZI’s name states “A fansite that exists for SHINee”, all the more they cannot bring down a particular fan community (T/N: referring to Minho fans). Because of SHAKIZI administrator’s inappropriate post, such an unfavourable thing happened and we are very regretful.

In response to this issue, Minho’s fansites request an apology and a promise (for such things not to happen again) from SHAKIZI’s administrators.

Also, until a proper apology is made, ALL MINHO FANSITE DATA ARE PROHIBITED FROM UPLOADING AT SHAKIZI. Using the excuse of an “Announcement” to reveal your personal thoughts about something totally unrelated to a particular fan community is unacceptable and such behavior has to be corrected, therefore such an inconvenient decision had to be made.

Just like the post SHAKIZI made on August 2 2012, which was not the opinions of all people on SHAKIZI, this notice represents the views of all of Minho’s fansites, and is not the opinion of all Minho fans in general.

For the better understanding of everyone, we will list the fan communities that this notice represents, and we hope that fans can see our point.
