SHINee won the award of New Star here in debut-year, 2008.
I remember that it was the first 'rookie of the Year award'.
For some reasons, they haven't participated in this award ceremony for 4years.
But SHINee was nominated this year.

one of the reason why some i-shawols didn't vote for the 'Smart Korean address' is because they don't know how to vote.. in a chinese website, there was a fan post the link to the voting website but didn't say how to vote.. so the chinese fans also can't do anything about it..
