Let's study 'Korean Mon-NaNi Hotdog'

Korea has many kinds of hotdogs.
We not only call hotdogs that look like western style hotdog.
but we also call hotdogs anything that ones with sausages.

Originally, there was one style hotdog like this..

but I've heard someone invented ugly hotdog..
you know, the hotdog that Minho was focusing on eating.. lol

ugly = 못생긴(MotSaengGin) 못난(Mon-Nan)
못생긴 means ugly, or unattractive.

Once, koreans had these ugly dolls in their house.
They are called 'Mon-NaNi InHyoung' (ugly dolls)

The hotdogs look rough and bumpy due to potato embeded in paste.
So We started calling them ugly hotdog.

The hotdog shop can be seen easily anywhere on the street.
especailly There are so many shops in MyoungDong where many visitors gather.
Ugly hotdogs are prefered by travellers from other countries.
Because of their unique appearance and strength to taste both sausage and potato.

If you have an opportunity to visit Korea, You shouldn't miss it.
The price of one is about 1500Won.
It used to be 500won when I was a student. :(

This is "Twist potato" on the rise.
I think it is bite size to MinHo.

How I wish someone sells food like this in our country.
If only I knew the recipe, I can cook and eat one of SHINee's favorite foods when they are still trainee ^^
